i'v been very mad about breakfast.

taken with contax-rts, planar f1.4/50mm

i admit that i've been mad about breakfast.
anytime.
even when i have a high fever.
even when i have a hangover.

the picture is the one which i had on the morning i felt very bad.
i can't believe that i ate a croissant which has a rich butter flavor on that terrible morning.
i'm sure that i bought this beautiful croissant at my favorite co-op which sells croissants from a local french bakery.
i must've been so excited with the croissant the night before.
and i wasn't able to give up that even though i noticed i felt very bad that morning.

so if i'm asked how deep i love breakfast, i'll answer this.
" i love breakfast as much as i dare eat a croissant on the morning i felt terribly bad."
isn't that enough to express my love for breakfast, is it? :))

friends, enjoy your breakfast :)
breakfast is good for you!
i promise :))

dear breakfast,
i wish if my all 3 meals a day were you.
love you always.
sincerely yours,
tomily

i love breakfast and i know what you mean about eating it even when you feel bad. when i 'm not feeling so good i usually have oatmeal for breakfast because it's simple and the flavor isn't strong.

hope you feel better.

Very well said! :))
I know completely how you love your breakfast.

As for me, breakfast is sometimes a must and deep love, but often I have skipped it;p since I read in a book it will do good for body to fast half a day.

Still it's one of a little but greatest happiness to have a lovely bread or brown rice & miso soup in the morning:))

BTW what type of croissant do you like?

nite nite:))

>hi, jennifer :)
thank you for your kind comment.
i'm totally alright now!
yeah, i know that i should've taken more lighter and healthier choice when i felt so bad, but i had been dreaming of having this pretty croissant all night long ;P

i love oatmeal very much!!
as you said, i love its simple flavor and especially the smell too.
one of my favorite ways to eat that is simmering simply with water and a pinch of salt, then eat that with foaming soy milk on it!
umm, yum!!

>akane-chin,
thank you, thank you for a lot of messages about this post!!
yeah, here's another coincidence, isn't it? ;P

so, i was so shocked by your post the other day which was saying you don't basically take breakfast other than yogurt!!
especially because now's the time to have to lose some wight for me, i felt so guilty i stick to eat breakfast ;P
i thought that if i could skip my breakfast, i may be able to lose my weight more effortlessly.
oh, but i can't do that!!!
breakfast is my necessity!

so, what type of croissant do i like?
well, to tell the truth, i'm actually not a croissant person.
i seldom eat that, but sometimes, i have a strong desire to eat that.
and my type is almost the same as the one you don't prefer ;P
i prefer the one which has rather a tough skin, and is very crisp and whose flesh is not much fluffy but has kind of thick layers.
as i sometimes hate the smell of butter, i'd like the one is less buttery if possible.
when i go to the farmer's market in portland, there's my most favorite bakery in the world.
that is a german bakery, and i think they use naturally fermented yeast to make their bread dough.
i've never tried their croissant, but i think i must love that.
it looks very hard, dark colored, so artisan!

yes! that is how i eat my oatmeal too with just water and a little salt. though sometimes i need to have something sweet in it, so i add some blueberries because they are my favorite fruit. :)

>jennifer,
yeah, i sometimes need a bit sweetness in it, too!
in that case, i like to add a small amount of raisin in the pan and cook them with oatmeal.
i love that natural sweetness.
blueberries sound great too in this season!
